Voices Loud and Clear

By Kong Hee (author), Byron D. Klaus (editor), and Douglas Petersen (editor)

Chapter 11 – Unreached People Groups and the Cultural Intelligence Model, written by Karl and Jennifer Hargestam. More than 30 years ago Harvey Cox wrote in Fire from Heaven that 21st century Christianity would thrive in the non-western world and be decidedly Pentecostal in character. That the geographical centre of Christianity has shifted is now a well-substantiated reality. Yet there is much work to be done to give Pentecostal scholarship from the Majority World voice and serious consideration. Voices Loud and Clear offers serious reflection on the opportunities and challenges facing the church, as Global Christianity’s influence grows in the Majority World and recedes in the West. Seasoned Pentecostal leaders, from both the Majority World and the West, offer valuable perspectives on why the church in the Majority World is so vital to sustaining the continued vibrancy of Global Christianity in the 21st century.

PATH UNVEILED (The Assignment Series – Vol 2)

By Karl Hargestam

Looking back at the events that transpired on the mission fields, I
often wonder if they really occurred because they seem surreal with
the passage of time. Yet, I know they did. My feet were on the soil of
tribes unaware of our way of life. I was often the first messenger to
reach remote tribes with the Gospel discovering that while on God’s
assignment, the impossible became possible. The way events have
unfolded, in my life, is a testimony to the amazing blessing of
connecting to Gods assignment. How events work together for good
is a puzzle until you start seeing the full picture in perspective after the
pieces have fallen in place. Those events make for a good story to
share in friendly company but I have been encouraged through the
years to share them with the public. The stories are the basis for this
book, hopefully inspiring you to find God’s assignment for your life.
The Church recognizes that the only “assignment” given it is to make
disciples of all nations.

The Assignment – Workbook

How would you answer the call?

At the core of the story to Journey to the Extreme is the belief that everyone has a right to hear the gospel at least once, and equally everyone has an “assignment” issued to them by God: to make disciples of all nations.

The call to bring the Gospel to others has fallen to a man who is faced with the choice of giving up his comfortable life to bring the promise of everlasting life to those in need. Cole is a teacher who is faced with the decision of taking his family to Africa to share the love of God with those who have never heard The Word. His wife and son are both called to help Cole bring this message of Love, Hope, and Life to the villages of Africa.

MISSION ONE ELEVEN: THE CORE

By Karl Hargestam

Mission One Eleven’s purpose is to raise up a generation of laborers committed to reaching the unreached-people who have not had a chance, or at least an adequate chance, to respond to the gospel. There are roughly 2.8 billion people who have still not had a chance to respond to the gospel. Who We Are: Mission One Eleven is a turnkey missions program that will excite and energize your congregation for missions work. The structure is already established, set up, and easy to implement in you’re own church or school. It gives the local body of Christ full participation in completing the Great Commission of reaching “every tribe and nation” with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Mission One Eleven strengthens and complements your existing missions program by empowering you to send your own people to reach the unreached tribes throughout the world. In return, this experience greatly raises the passion and call towards mission work throughout your congregation.
